Stress is a hot topic these days is’nt it, to almost everyone?
So I seek to address this important issue in part.
I am taking excerpts from a very good Christian website to
base my post that will benefit some of you.
While most major translations of the Bible don’t specifically use the word stress, Scripture does speak to things such as anxiety, worry and trouble and gives us clear answers on how we should deal with them. The dictionary defines stress as “physical, mental, or emotional strain or tension.” Everyone suffers from stress at one time or another. In fact, research indicates that children who live in a stressful home environment are at greater risk to become highly stressed by life’s challenges. Stress can cause us to do things we would not normally do or cause us to shut down completely. Anything that causes stress is called a “stressor.” (1)
I have several translations, and one of them says that “times will be stressful in the last days” The New Living translation says “You should know this, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5They will act religious, but they will reject the power
that could make them godly”. (2 Tim 3)
We see the first half of those in every day life around us and the second half is telecast over TVevery day, programming the minds of men, women and children at an alarming rate.
Please use some of this valuable time in the evenings and weekends for family interests, pleasant music or praise and worship music, and valuable quiet-time with The Lord if this is possible.
It will make you strong spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
You can only be as spiritual as the time you spend with Jesus.
Your faith, love, peace, hope and joy depend on that.
You can’t plant radishes and hope for fruit!
Many people become stressed because they don’t trust God to provide the basic necessities of life. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?” (Matthew 6:25, 27). This verse is a classic example of why we get stressed in the first place—we worry about providing for ourselves and our loved ones. We stress over money because we never seem to feel that we have enough. We worry about making ends meet, often living paycheck to paycheck. Or we become consumed by materialism and, in turn, it stresses us out too about how to maintain our lifestyle. (2)
Yes, that is not the way to true happiness, contentment and joy. Yet certain Televangelists (not all) encourage that – you give them a handsome down-payment first and you could be in line to be the next wealthy Christian just like them. So you go in for God’s lucky dip (forgive me) they make it sound so certain, just like the ambassador multi-level marketers in the world's system.
Well, The Lord does not run lucky dips, He is not a slot machine with irresistible candy. He does not encourage greed or give in to bribes.
More to say about Preachers Greed
Such preachers schemes are devilish and deceitful. And I know that some of you were honest and sincere with good motives. They made it sound so “holy” using God’s Feast Days for Israel, saying that The Lord is restoring them to the Church. Any good theologian will tell us that God deals with Israel and the Church separately in two different covenants.
In fact, Hebrews tells us that the former one is now obsolete and the Glory of the Latter House (that’s us, a spiritual building) will be more glorious than the former house (that’s Israel) for those Feast Days (accompanied by great and bountiful blessings) were
“a type and shadow of things to come” scripture plainly states.
How dare these Televangelists use God’s Holy Scriptures
out of context to their gain.
Now I want to tell you something to settle this once and for all:
They know plenty of scriptures, and preach good sermons often, but they are what Jesus called “hirelings” (not to be trusted) because their hearts are no longer centered on Christ. They have no business preaching!
Jesus also said “you cannot serve two masters. Either you love one and hate the other”
That’s because the other is the deceiver, the author of the Love of Money and the
spirit of the world that makes “lovers of self and money, lovers of pleasure and disobedience” in these last days. All that is in the world – how dare they take it into the Church and make it an object of disgrace. The Church who Jesus Died for and washed with His precious Blood.
You can be sure they will pay for that, so their riches perish with them if they do not repent.
For our God does not take it lightly when His Name is taken in vain – especially for gain.
Yes some of them dare to tell you that God blessed them with all of their riches
(from our pockets) and others just show it with their Limos and fancy attire.
Shame on them. They think they get away with it – but Judgement Day is coming –
and they have caused many sincere Christians to leave the Faith.
Some of you have had high pressure sermons from pastors extracting more
and more from your pockets and there seems to be no end to this.
You should actually read my post on
Find out the true facts from Scripture AND Early Church History.
I have addressed that because it is a major source of stress.
Thousands of Christians are hurting and
some devastated by such preaching and it must stop.
At-least for you who are reading this.
Spiritual Recovery….
You need to Rest in God’s PEACE and not trouble yourself over them anymore.
For God says “fret not yourself over the wicked because it only tends to evil”.
There is a principle in that verse, that un-forgiveness will make us sick if we let it –
depression, digestive disturbances and cancer have now been found to stem
from unforgiveness, by scientists and neuro-scientists.
Besides, unhealthy thinking makes us open receptors (so to speak) to other schemes of
the Evil One. That’s why God’s Word says to “give no place to the devil”……that can
make you emotionally unbalanced and keep you from experiencing the Peace of Christ.
No, leave their sins at the Cross of Calvary and walk with the Prince of Peace.
Let Him restore you and Bless you, bringing to you true happiness and contentment
money cannot buy and trust Him to meet your needs as you wait patiently.
Encouragements to All
Bring all your cares and concerns to Him for His shoulders are bigger than ours.
Become conscious through scripture reading that “The Lord is your Keeper” and
The Ways of The Lord are a Refuge for the righteous”……..”The Lord knows the Plans that He has for me, to give me a hope and a future”……..”I trust in Him and I am helped, I am saved from my enemies”…….”surely His Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”…….I will build up my treasures in Heaven by “setting my thoughts
on things above” instead of the concerns on this earth. The Lord is for me, I will not
be afraid – He is my Helper"……"Blessed are those whose Trust is in The Lord"……
"He is Good and Faithful is His Love, let the redeemed say so".
Believing leads to trusting. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to “trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Leaning on “our own understanding” often means adopting the world’s ways of relieving stress—things like alcohol or drugs or mindless entertainment. Instead, we should trust His Word as our ultimate guide to a
stress-reduced life. David says, “I sought The LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4). David knew that by seeking The Lord and sharing his concerns with Him that he would find favor with Him. The Lord in turn answered him and calmed him down. (3)
If only those in the world could find refuge in this verse like we can.
Make sure you put it into practice won’t you?
Together with the following verses, it could really increase your
joy-filled days and bring you such peace.
As His dear child, He desires you to live with His Peace in your heart every day.
at-least most of them. It is possible. Especially if you meditate on His Word each
day and evening like Joshua was instructed to. The original Hebrew word for meditate
is to say softly to yourself (verbally) the scriptures The Lord is blessing you with.
We have His promise that “Those who meditate on His Words
each day and evening shall be like a tree planted beside streams of water
that yields it’s fruit each season”..……is’nt that wonderful?
There are two friends who stand out in my memory for years now.
They do this and their speech to me drips like honey.
This is not some fantasy or some mind over matter
It’s very real. They always have Joy and Peace
whatever their circumstances. I love to visit them!
No Scripture better captures how to handle stress than Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” The Lord tells us not to be anxious about anything, but rather to turn everything over to Him in prayer. Lifting our concerns to a holy and righteous God daily will mitigate or eliminate the stress in our lives. (4)
There's something about when we give thanks with a grateful heart -
it switches off the anxiety mode and we're able to ask in faith.
Faith is activated trust.
I’ll also tell you what else will help you immensely to buffer you against stress.
That is the next verse….a favorite of mine. Let me paraphrase it for you:
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise think about these things." Because that is the best pattern for thinking....it speaks about having a Christ awareness .....appreciation of nature... the qualities and giftings in others.....it speaks of renewing your mind consistently.....loving His Words of Life..... having right attitudes and healthy thoughts and company.....being creative .......having a desire for progress. (Phil 4:8)
We need to seek His peace daily by filling our minds with His Word, lifting all things to Him in prayer, and sitting at His feet in awe and reverence. It is only by His grace, mercy and love that the stress in our lives can be managed. (5)
1 2 3 4 5 above is from an article called
What does the Bible say about Stress?
GotQuestions.Org
- Oct 9, 2015
This post was partly inspired by an article I read today
PEACE IN THE MIDST OF STRESS
It was only a short article but inspired me immensely.
Then I took a different direction that compliments.
Please take time to read this.
Stress is prevalent in our world today, but there is a way to handle stress without turning to addictions and other things. Internal peace can be found through Jesus even in the midst of stressful circumstances. (1)
In this world, common ways to cope with stress in recent year have been through addictions such as over-drinking, over-partying, over-eating, over-shopping, over-spending, over-accumulating, over-working, etc. ever on the increase, effecting many hearts and lives. (2)
I feel such compassion for children in families who are caught up in these kinds of environments because in one way or another, they are affected. I feel for elderly people too, because they see such a different world and the situations many of their families are in that are radically different to the stress they are familiar with.
Jesus told his disciples how to handle stress when He said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble, but take courage; I have overcome the world." (3)
When Jesus said, "…in Me you may have Peace," He taught believers that peace in the midst of stress is experienced by living in Him and through Him. Jesus stated the same thing when He said, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him bears much fruit. Apart from Me you can do nothing." Part of the fruit that Jesus is speaking of here is the “Peace that passes all understanding” that only comes from abiding in Him. (4)
So what is abiding?
The Apostle John wrote, "By this we know that we abide in Jesus and He in us, because of the Spirit He has given us." Abiding in Jesus is not keeping a set of Christian rules or performing some self-disciplined Christian activities, it is a believer having the Holy Spirit living within him or her. When we believe the Spirit who lives within – not to just know about Him – we will experience His peace in the midst of stress. (5)
This is more than a mental acknowledgement, this is realizing “Yes Holy Spirit, You live in me, You are the One who is here to guide and strengthen me……You are my Comforter……You are the Spirit of Truth in the midst of confusion……”
This is when you quiet your soul for He says “be still and know that I am God”.
Yes, He is the One who “instructs us and teaches us” how to walk in the safety of
The Lord and the way to go.
As we look to Him, He will make steady our steps and make our path straight. He will bring Peace where there is turmoil when we draw aside and separate ourselves with Him like Jesus did with His Father.
The way we feel and the way we behave is directly connected to what we think about in our mind. If we continuously set our mind on the truth, we can experience Christ's abundant life and have plenty of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control in the midst of the stress of life. (6)
1 2 3 4 5 6 above is by Greg Brezina from Christian Families Today
When Christian’s thoughts are Earth-bound
To set our minds on things of earth in much of our thinking: our work, our interests, social life, TV and the Net, stifles the life and fruit of the Holy Spirit because it gives little or no room for Him to express Himself and speak to us. With the pace of living today and all it’s concerns, so many of us neglect quality prayer-time to sense His presence and devotion time, where we build ourselves up with His Words. From morning to evening, we fill our minds with earthly input that it crowds out the things of the Holy Spirit. What we to give the most time to in our thought-life is going to determine how much faith we have when we pray; how much and how often we sense His Presence; what response we give to The Lord; how important His guidance is to us; how much love we show in our relationships from day to day and stressful moments.
Yes, the quality of our lives and direction in life, harmonious relations etc all depend on how closely with relate with Him on an everyday basis. All of us desire blessings and answered prayers. Often we want the Gifts instead of the Giver it seems to show up…….when we are ready, to spend a few minutes in prayer. Even prayer groups have their prayer lists and tell Him what to do and how He should do it. And so it is with us personally when we don’t take time to come aside with Him….be still and allow Him to speak to us. Like any good relationship, a skill or interest……this takes practice.
The reality is that we can’t expect to be distant today and close tomorrow. Not unless a real change of heart and mind takes place…….and then there is a renewing of our mind to take place. We are all instructed to “be transformed by the Spirit and renewed in our minds”.
“What does all this have to do with stress and meeting my needs” you say? It has everything to do with it because we are living in a stressful world – for some of us that includes relationships – and we’re running on empty……..but we don’t run our cars on empty do we? “no, that would be silly” we say “no-one does that”. Well no, but we do so spiritually in life.
Why the Church System Disappoints
And here is where I must address the issue of the church-system as we know it today:
It is radically different to the Early Church that we talk so much about – in ignorance really – because since the Roman emperor changed Christ’s Church into a State Institution, we have had many problems since. This may surprize you when I say this__ previous to Constantine and his misguided self-commissioned remodelling of the Church, Christians did not meet together in buildings. They worshiped in their homes and gathered together in each-others houses. The Greek orators of that day met in buildings and gave long impressive speeches……people went to be entertained.
Sad to say, we have 1-2 hour sermons, we are entertained with music groups……in addition to that, the “leaders” do everything we are called to do…….then we get up and go home. Sorry, it’s true. We get told what to do and how to do it……we get prayed for instead of seeking The Lord ourselves……we get wet-nursed like infants…… and in the same service we sometimes get told “we can do mighty things in God” do we not?
And we wonder why Christians are not strong like we should be. Why? Because
that system makes us weak spiritually. That system is destined to fail……
because someone does our thinking for us etc
If we have a spiritual Pastor, he does our listening for us (when it comes to God’s voice)
he operates in the Gifts of the Spirit and he cares about our needs (if there is personal communication). Can you tell me how this kind of environment conditions us for Stressful times?
Returning to the True Pattern
No, we need to get back to the New Testament ways. That is why the Lord is raising up House Churches throughout the earth. “The Kingdom of God does not consist of talk but Power (God’s ability in us the believers)” and “The Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking (rules and regulations) but Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit”.
When those in the world see this, they will come and be saved. They will seek us out like they did in scripture. We are told that “they turned the world up-side-down”……..and Families were Saved. So attractive were the Glad Tidings (Gospel) manifest in hearts and lives (right there in the community).
Muslims have their buildings and rituals but we have “Christ in us, the Hope
of Glory”……..”You shall no longer go to this mountain (or in a building) to worship God ……for true worshippers will worship Him in Spirit and Truth”. That’s where the Holy Spirit comes in beloved…….and that’s where we come in (all believers) no system was mentioned here. Jesus said to James and John there is to be no Hierarchy…..yet that was the very thing that Constantine introduced (he was no friend of Christianity to promote that)
but Early Christians fellowshipped in each other’s homes with Great Joy!
God’s Order of Things was Always….
Three times our Lord God set things up to fellowship with us and the enemy sought
a way to pervert it and make us a sorry bunch devoid of fellowship and power.
Think about it: the 1st time was with Adam and Eve……he tempted them with the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” He changed God’s words to them by saying “has God said?” enticing them that “they would not die” and through their submission, he succeeded in changing God’s order of things that was unbroken fellowship with Him where they knew and experienced only the Goodness of God.
The 2nd time was with Israel where they worshipped The Lord in their houses – apart from special occasions – the Levites taught them from house to house until they thought up an idea (God did not tell them) to arrange a meeting place in a building instead. From that, we see the Pharisee system that displeased Jesus.
The 3rd time was after Jesus commissioned a Body of believers (The Church) to walk with Him like His followers did and in 300AD Constantine changed all that.
Yes, the enemy knew that it would spoil the intimate fellowship they had with Godand each-other and weaken their walk with God, so we would be Christians with “a form of Godliness, denying the Power of God” that is to deny Him His rightful place over His Church – the Body of Believers – for the ministries are ministering in a different way than He intended just like the Levites were. Christ’s order of things has been changed drastically and many Christians – even ministers – shy away from the real Power of God when it is evident through some-one who has tapped into it (lives in it).
Where do we go from here?
Yes, no wonder there is a book called Jesus has left the Building and prophecies where The Lord is saying “I want My Church Back!” Be careful you are not resisting Him if you think otherwise. Jesus still says to us "He who has ears to hear, let him hear" and He did say “Follow Me” ……He also said that “Whoever follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the Light of Life”. We see so many Christians in need of healing, depressed and stressed, anxious, needing freedom from different bondages…….
Why is this when Jesus said it would not be so? Two reasons: because our priorities in our personal lives are not centered around Him and the order of things has changed in the way we fellowship and worship Him in a church-system instead of a Body of Believers.
That’s why so many Christians have been saying/feeling for so many years now
“something is wrong” and many are leaving and finding what they have been
searching for in the Home Church Movement.
In our Personal Lives….
How do we best deal with every day stresses? Start to acquaint yourself with The Lord closely. This is like a precious new garden you need to nurchure every day so it will stay
nice and beautiful. It is also like when someone is newly-wed or has a new baby – you would not neglect relating with them closely every day would you? There is no joy in a garden over-run with weeds……a romance that has lost it’s closeness…….a baby that is fretful……and that’s what we end up with spiritually
when we’re missing precious time with The Lord.
Believe me, it is no different. Many of you are choked up with the cares of life. Many of you have lost your passion for Jesus and find it difficult to sense His Love. Many of you are stressed and fretful, unwell…….looking for a way out of it.
You know the world does not have answers so they turn to addictions, over-drinking and over-partying. Maybe you also are consoling yourself with over-eating, over-shopping,
over-spending or over-accumulating. You could even be hiding yourself in overworking or pleasures like many do in the world for stress-relief.
“JESUS SAYS THIS SHOULD NOT BE YOU. I DID NOT INTEND ANY OF THIS
FOR YOU MY CHILDREN. SEEK TO KNOW ME…..SEARCH FOR THAT PATH AND FOLLOW ME……FOR THERE
I WILL LEAD YOU TO PASTURES GREEN WHERE THE RIVER OF LIFE
FREELY FLOWS”.
It’s in HIM__ it’s ALL in Him beloved……the “PEACE that passes all Understanding”…….you will find you’ll have less questions anyway, sitting at the
feet of Jesus.
Mary knew “the one thing needful” remember? And after Martha learnt the same from Jesus’ encouragement to her, she believed that He could raise her brother Lazareth, when others were upset in disbelief.
And the Holy Spirit can make you strong too if you follow Jesus and Mary’s recipe.
You don’t need lots of sermons but maybe what you do need is some good healthy devotion time that is more personal and The Lord can speak to you in the quietness.
I heard a prophecy many years ago where The Lord said “His Peace cannot rest on a troubled spirit” because when we are anxious we cannot receive that Peace and blessing He offers us and that’s what this prophecy was in reference to. So take time to receive the engrafted word that is able to save your soul (mind and emotions).
“His words are Spirit and Life” and “He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to Him”. Right now, that needs to be you…….and if you stay in the Resting Place
(His Presence on a daily basis) He can change your present story into a Testimony that will influence others…….He will make You a Blessing…….never mind the evangelists who come to town. Jesus can make you into a garden whose waters never fail if you Trust in Him and respect your relationship with Him like that new garden, a new spouse, a new child.
It is not my place to tell you to seek out a House Church. There are three friends of mine
who have managed to make a Church personal and progressive. They all have a
sensitivity to the Holy Spirit (ministry and believers) and are close knit families.
It is for each one of us to Seek the Lord first and always.
Through the week at least, we need to be walking the way you have been reading.
This is “the New and Living Way – Walk ye in It”, a song once said. And it went on to say
“I am guided and led by His Right Hand”…….you will get all the guidance you need when “He is your New and Living Way”. JUST JESUS!
May the Peace and Grace of The Lord be with your spirit.

And we should be thankful receivers when someone blesses us.
Especially The Lord! So many times we forget to thank Him or do not recognize what comes from His Hand.
He is so patient and Gracious - let's learn to have a THANKFUL SPIRIT.
Some principles will be shared here that will inspire many of you to a new
found freedom in these areas. Yes? Come with me.
Someone said unkind and careless words this week I felt I would
really like to bless following a gift she received that she was looking forward to.
She did not express any thanks or appreciation for several days.....left it unwrapped.......
then sent it back to me because she was irritated about me disturbing her with a morning phone call. She said "I do not like calls in the morning, I pray to God then!" and she did not like me asking her about her marked absence - for 5 days I did not hear from her. I asked her why and said would she please not do that again.
Friends, I was so inspired by that how so many of us treat the Giver of Givers
when He longs to bless and why He withholds further blessing at times.
At first, when I had this gift for her - just what she needed and really nice -
that would bless her beyond her expectations, it was very hard to contact her.
The Holy Spirit inspired me through that experience too.
She was actually not well at the time - unknown by me - she could not speak
because she had laryngitis. And this is what He showed me:
Sometimes, just like I was, The Lord has a wonderful blessing.....a really
nice gift He wants to give us.....He is really looking forward to seeing us
receive it and the surprise in our eyes.
But for some reason - whatever it may be - we are simply not there
to receive it. We're not contactable......we're so busy with day to day life with it's
interests and concerns that we are not present with Him - so to speak - to receive this wonderful gift. This could be over days or weeks with many of us.
How many of us spend quality time with Him?
How many of us have warm and receptive hearts?
How many of us have the ability to receive gracefully?
How many of us are thankful receivers?
Our Heavenly Father has feelings too. He is the Giver of Givers and sometimes He will send something our way in Grace because He loves us
with an unconditional love. So kind is The Lord.
Usually, just how we like for a loved one to be present to receive gifts, so it is
with Him. He loves to relate closely with us and precious gifts are sometimes
His way of showing us His care and affection.
THE LORD IS GOOD AND FAITHFUL IS HIS LOVE
LET THE REDEEMED SAY OF THE LORD.
Just like a child, we need to open up and receive from His Hand.
To go to Daddy and sit in His lap so to speak.
And importantly, to receive thankfully and treasure that gift.
Don't just run off with it or treat it carelessly.
Would we be willing to give gifts to our son or daughter if they are not
thankful or treat their gifts carelessly? Good parents don't encourage that
but so often we expect that from our Heavenly Father.
He loves for us to spend quality time with Him and not just to be a present giver.
The world treats Him like that because they don't know Him.
The Lord has spoken prophetically to Christians here a few times inviting us
to ask for as much blessing as we like.......and also, that He would give us the
ability to receive. We need to pray for that and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal
to us how to receive in simple trust and faith, those things we have
requested of Him.
This article was going to be only about Thankful Receivers
But I felt to add about Thankful givers as well.
They are so awesome – they really are!
It is a real privilege to share our blessings with those in need.
He said once that He would greatly bless me and He also said that this
was not only for my benefit but to "Make me a Blessing"........so when we ask
Him for much blessing, He gives them to us because we are His children He
loves very much and like any good parent, He likes us to share!
Who have you thought of blessing lately? Yes, we can bless others too,
in prayer, in conversation and with gifts and talents He gives to us.
"If you need hope, give some away. What you bring to others, The Lord
can bring to you"
We need to think outside ourselves more often.
If we are stingy with giving to others, how can we expect Him to be generous with us?
Remember the encouragements Jesus and the Apostle Paul gave us. Their counsel
has not changed. And if you don't have much left after rent and expenses,
tithes and offerings, you may like to read my post called
It is actually not scriptural for ministers to solicit your money for buildings and programs
in the form of tithes and offerings, much less ask you for more and more.
Did you know that tithes were part of God's Covenant with the Jews? And offerings also
for Israel (that were given to those in need).
They were accompanied with great rejoicing.
Nowhere in scripture are we told to pay
for our blessings and threatened if we don't.
Malachi 3 is quoted out of context.
What about Grace Tithes you say? Abraham only tithed the once and it was not from his income. And Jacob did so only the once with a conditional vow! New Testament giving by Early Christians was mostly for those in need and they gave with much Joy and Thanksgiving at opportunities to show their generosity. Note, it was as they were able and purposed in their hearts, not demanded of them?
We can all have gladness in giving restored to us if we find out the facts on the link above! How dare some preachers empty your pockets and take that which belongs to the poor. Some of them dare to say "Give your offerings to us, we have the 60 fold
ground" misquoting Jesus words to us! .They even have the nerve to tell us that giving to the poor won't return that much. How can they desecrate God's Sanctuary
like that? The Lord will repay preachers according to the good or evil they have
done when He comes. They are so deluded, they think they are getting away with it.
Having lost five dear loved ones in 10 months, I am very much aware how sudden
death comes. I want to be ready, do you?
House Churches have been a place of refuge to many Christians who have been abused spiritually over financial giving and prosperity gospels that make you broke.
Many of them practice true respect and generosity toward each other such as the
New Testament records. You may like to click on that link also.

Have Ears to Hear
It is important not to keep things in our hearts about each other or to act poorly towards fellow Christians and other people if we want to receive gifts from the Heavenly Giver, because scripturally speaking, we have a spiritual bond with each other that is important like that of a husband and wife. And we are also ambassadors of God's Love and Grace.....living letters.....let us be a good example.
So don't let your prayers be hindered will you or those who you offend?
So many Christians are guilty of offenses and wonder why The Lord
does not answer prayer. I have another post on Handling Offenses.
The first hinderance to Prayer is not praying – How can we ask or thank God
if we don't pray? "You can ask what you will if you Abide in Me".
Often you try so hard and He wants you to ask Him to move for you.
It is also important how we treat the giver anytime. If we want to be happy recipients
of good gifts, let's make happy those who give to us.....hey?
GOD'S RIVER FLOWS THROUGH THE LAW OF LOVE.
ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS POST.
