Be careful who you allow to shape your thinking
for the words of some will send your faith sinking.
Don't let their words affect your hope
sometimes they're not happy unless you cope.
Friendship is not meant for meeting one's needs
this would be kindness, yes indeed
if they would truly understand
an ear to hear and a helping hand
are meant for occasions, what celebration!
If they don't respect this then do not miss
a moment to tell them this truly offends.

My Prayer for You
I thought of you so much today
I went to God in prayer.
To ask Him to watch over you
and show you that I care.
My prayer for you was not for rewards
ones that you can touch or feel.
But true rewards for happiness
that are so very real.
Like love and understanding
in all the things you do.
For guidance when you need it most
to see your troubles through.
I asked Him for good health for you
so your future could be bright.
And faith to accept life's challenges
with courage to do what's right.

I have a new friend Sheree
To meet her was an experience
I saw her through Jesus eyes and mine

I like to walk with Grandpa,
